Zdravo starenje i produženje životnog veka, uz smanjenje rizika od hroničnih bolesti, predstavljaju imperative modernog društva. Ova sesija detaljno obrađuje savremene pristupe očuvanju funkcionalnih sposobnosti i vitalnosti, sa posebnim osvrtom na značaj pravilne ishrane i kompleksnu povezanost crevne mikrobiote i procesa starenja. Naši predavači istaći će značaj uloge farmaceuta u promociji zdravog načina života. Učesnici će imati priliku da sagledaju važnost savetovanja koje je zasnovano na dokazima, kao i pružanja podrške pacijentima pri informisanom izboru i bezbednoj upotrebi dijetetskih suplemenata i kozmetičkih proizvoda.

The pursuit of longevity and the preservation of quality of life are at the forefront of modern healthcare. As part of the Scientific program of the 9th Serbian Congress of Pharmacy with International Participation, we proudly present Session 22.
“ Healthy aging and longevity: Contemporary approaches and the role of pharmacists.”
Healthy aging and extending lifespan while reducing the risk of chronic diseases are imperatives of modern society. This session explores contemporary approaches to preserving functional abilities and vitality, with a special focus on nutritional strategies and the complex molecular mechanisms linking gut microbiota to the aging process. Our invited lecturers will highlight the evolving role of pharmacists in promoting healthy lifestyles. Participants will gain insights into the importance of evidence-based counselling and supporting patients in making informed choices regarding the rational and safe use of dietary supplements and cosmetic products for longevity.
